Population Health Analytics and the Right Interventions Can Help Combat America’s Opioid Crisis and Increase in Substance Use Disorders
As deaths related to drug overdose increase at an alarming rate, the CDC reports a 21 percent increase from 2016 to 2017 alone, access to actionable data across populations proves an integral part to preventing and treating opioid addiction and other substance abuse disorders.
According to a recent article in Becker’s Hospital Review, population health analytics help providers better understand the opioid crisis and choose the best tools and treatment options to combat it.
